Use the USB-Câ„¢ cable enclosed with the monitor for connection. If a cable for a different product is used, it may cause the screen to operate abnormally. If the device connected to the monitor has low battery, connection may be lost. This monitor supports the plug-and-play function. (Plug-and-play: When a device is connected to a PC, the PC
Specifically I have a LG UHD 32 monitor connected via USB-C cable. When it wakes up from sleep the resolution is on 720p. I found a solution on developer.apple.com forum which helped me. I hope it works for you as well. System Preferences -> Display -> Color -> Calibrate -> Click through all the dialogs.
I'm having issues with my LG 38WN95C since the MacOS 13.3.1 update when connecting via USB-C. My MBP "16 2019 gets about 1 second of power, then disconnects, then reconnects then disconnects etc. The monitor just displays a black image. Turning the monitor off and on or unplugging the USB-C cable fails to resolve it.
pretty good monitor. It is NOT 4k but 1440p quality. The USB-C connectivity works fine, no issues, the USB hub is USB 2.0, not USB 3.0. The built-in speakers are pretty loud and have acceptable sound quality for built-in speakers, but I recommend purchasing external speakers. For casual games they work well.
USB Type-C - Unified Interface. LG's 27BL85U-W uses USB Type-C and is compatible with MacBook. With a single cable, you can simultaneously transfer 4K screen data and other data while charging a MacBook or other mobile device up to 60W.
The USB-A ports at the back of the LG 32UN880 monitor are not working when I plug the monitor in via USB-C at the back of the Mac Studio. Somehow there's no power going to the hub. But the monitor hub works when I plug the same USB-C cable to my 16" Intel MacBook Pro. I don't have issues on the display, just the USB hub not working.
G19n. I have been using the LG 34WN80C-B for the past two years or something, most of the time using the Thunderbolt/USB-C port as the main port, but suddenly, one day I go to turn on the monitor and the laptop and it doesn't detect any input from the USB-C port. It still works perfectly fine for both the DisplayPort and the HDMI ports, however, the
On Amazon reviews, I see that many people have issues with LG monitors (not only this one) in terms of USB-C connection not working from start or breaking after a few months of using. I almost bought this monitor, but seeing the reviews, I hold off. Probably I'll buy Dell P3421W or Dell U3421we because of those issues.
After updating to Monterey this morning, the monitor will not stay connected via USB-C for longer than two minutes and charging no longer works. Dead USB-C connection between macbook pro and LG 27UD88 monitor Hello, I have an early-2017 macbook pro, which I have connected to an (also early 2017) LG 27UD88 monitor via a USB-C connection. On Feb
LG35WN75C usb-c stopped working after 3 weeks. Hi. I purchased this LG 35" Ultrawide with usb-C on January 28, 2021 from BestBuy. My return period just ended on Feb 17th 2021. I've been using it with my MacBook Pro 16" (2019) for the last few weeks with 0 issues. The funny thing is, I was using it with the Macbook plugged into the battery the
Regular USB ports: I stopped using the monitor as a USB hub and eventually got a CalDigit Thunderbolt 3 mini-dock, which has been wonderful. My old workaround was to unplug the monitor to get the USB mouse to work and "power on" again. A unplug/replug of the USB mouse never worked in getting it to connect again.
