Transfer data easily from/to your LG monitor with the help of a USB. But what if your LG monitor may have recognized the USB drive once you attached it, but have been unable to access the data on it? You may have repeatedly attempted to connect to the USB device but failed, this is a sign of LG monitor USB ports not working, now what should you do?
In order for them to be active, you would need to first connect the monitor to the computer, using the USB to USB B cable that is provided. Once that cable is connected, the regular USB ports on the monitor should be active. They require the connection to the PC to draw power for the devices. I hope this is helpful.
I recently bought LG 27GL850 monitor and i love this monitor but there is an issue when i am trying to connect the USB 3.0 connector to my PC. Current Monitor Model Name: LG 34WQ73A-B Issue: I want to connect two MacBooks to the same monitor and share the keyboard by attaching it via the USB 3.0 port on the monitor. Everything works as expected over USB-C connected to the first MacBook but the other one is connected over DP and it does not seem to recognize the keyboard.
I've been having some issues with the USB ports on my LG 49WL95C-W. I made a post specifically about the side ports a while back, and that issue kind of just came in and out and wasn't too bad, but now the back ports have been giving me trouble, too. It's kind of strange -- a USB A to USB C cable seems to be capable of giving my phone and other
Foc4e. Not using any usbc/hdmi adapters - just using monitor's thunderbolt cable from monitor straight to Dell 7490. When I go into display settings for the Dell, it lets me choose the LG monitor as display 2 but then says it's not active. "Display 2: connected to Intel UHD Graphics 620. Display 2: isn't active".
Tried reinstalling driver, generic. System doesn't detect any other monitor if I try that. There are historical posts that this has long been an issue for Dell laptops and a usb-c connection. Tried same connection on a Dell monitor with same issue. Tried with different XPS 9550 and worked fine, same cable. Does work as it should with Usb-c to HDMI.

LG 27GN950-B USB HUB Issue. I don't quite understand why this doesn't work. I have an external laptop connected via HDMI to the monitor but my wireless keyboard and mouse won't work through the USB hub. I have tried every USB port on my PC and even a different USB-B to A cable and nothing works. Keyboard/mouse works fine on the PC itself.
